In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 175 of 2009 registered for offence under section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. Allegation has been made that on secret information, a raid was conducted and 800 liters of kerosene oil kept for black marketing was recovered. After recovery, a seizure list was prepared in presence of two independent witnesses. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this petition is rejected.
