Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 203 of 2018 arising out of Excise Case No. 993 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation against petitioner is recovery of 12 liters of Mahua liquor from a bag which was carried by the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely implicated in this only on suspicion. He has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.08.2018.
