In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Taraiya P.S. Case No. 115 of 2016 registered for offences under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47 of the Excise Act, 2016.

As per First Information Report, the police raided the house of the petitioner, from there 20 liters of illegal country made liquor including two stolen motorcycles were recovered. This Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, namely, Chotu Rai is rejected.

The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32496 of 2016 (2) dt.19-08-2016 bail after one year of his judicial custody.
