2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rafiganj P.S. Case No. 401 of 2023, instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that, daughter of the informant was done to death by her husband for nonfulfillment of dowry demand.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner is separate in mess and business from the husband of the deceased.

No.19805 of 2025(2) dt.10-04-2025 2/2 It is further submitted that the deceased was a short-tempered lady and she had committed suicide after hot altercation with her husband. It is next submitted that husband of the deceased is in judicial custody. The petitioner is in custody since 16.10.2024 and has got no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Rafiganj P.S. Case No. 401 of 2023.
