The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 287 of 2017 dated 23.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 504, 302 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The son of the informant was shot at by Intekhab Ahamad on the orders of one Chini Mian. The occurrence was the result of a dispute post-hustings. The petitioner is being prosecuted in this case for being supporter of one Reshma Khatoon who had won the election and during the success rally of whom, the present occurrence is said to have taken place.

No.60538 of 2018(2) dt.29-10-2018 2/2 Considering the bleak nature of evidence against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 287 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
