The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 278 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 323 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is a student of Indian Marine University, Kolkata and has to appear in final examination of his 6th Semester in the month of September, 2015 and this is for the second time that the allegation under Section 498A has been levelled against him. The earlier case has been filed only a fortnight prior to the present case. Since the petitioner is pursuing studies, in the interests of justice, he may be extended the privilege of Anticipatory Bail.
Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the above
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36833 of 2015 (2) dt.07-08-2015 2/2 named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 278 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
