2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Ramgarhwa P.S. Case No. 389 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii) (c) of NDPS Act.

3. Allegedly, the informant along with other police party was conducting vehicle checking at Semara Chowk. Seeing the police party, two persons, who were holding bags in their hands, started fleeing away but were apprehended. The apprehended persons disclosed their names as Lalji Das and Keshwar Das (the petitioner). On search, total 2.48 kg of Charas was recovered from bag of the petitioner whereas 2.5 kg

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely on the basis of suspicion. He is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing has been recovered from his possession and he is under custody since 05.10.2023.

5. The FSL report has been received and annexed with the record which shows that the alleged recovered contraband is Charas.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the bail petition of the petitioner is rejected. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) kundan/- U T
