2. This is the 2nd attempt of the petitioner seeking bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 251 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected on 15.09.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 36457 of 2025 which reads as follows:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 251 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case of the prosecution is that six

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20503 of 2026(2) dt.30-04-2026 2/3 year old daughter of the informant namely, Ruhi Kumari was playing at the door of the informant on 02.05.2024 at about 5 O' clock. After some time, his daughter was not there at the door. The wife of the informant namely, Shobhi Devi started searching her daughter, but she could not find her. At about 08:30 P.M., when the informant came to his house his wife disclosed that the child was missing. After this, the informant along with his family and society members started searching his missing daughter. Aftersome time, they found that the lights of the neighbour Nagendra Ram were switched off then they had suspicion over him.

They went to the house of Nagendra Ram and they found that Sachin Kumar (petitioner) was standing in the courtyard near the septic tank of toilet and told them that there is nothing. After this, the villagers went near the septic tank and found that garbage was put over septic tank. When the garbage was removed, the dead body of Ruki Kumari was found. The cloth was tied in her head and neck and she was having mark on her chest.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 05.05.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

4. In the trial, out of five witnesses, one witness has been examined.

5. Considering the fact that the trial has started and is progressing, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
