Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Lakhisarai Mahila P.S. Case No.38 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner along with other family members are said to have tortured the informant physically and mentally due to non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife with honour and dignity.

Taking into consideration the fact that petitioner and opposite party no.2 are ready to live with each other, both the parties are directed to appear before the learned court below on 30.05.2022 and file an affidavit in the learned court below stating therein that both parties are ready to live with each other. The learned court below is directed to enlarge the petitioner on provisional bail on its own satisfaction in connection with Lakhisarai Mahila P.S. Case No.38 of 2019 for a period of six months and if the learned court below finds after six months that both the parties are living together, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner shall be confirmed only thereafter.
