Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 489(B) and 489(C) of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is not named in the First Information Report but in course of investigation, the name of the petitioner came in the confessional statement of co-accused, who was caught on the spot, when he made attempt to deposit counterfeit notes in the bank. However, having more or less similar allegation, coaccused Akhilesh Paswan has already been granted privilege of bail by this court. It appears from the impugned order that except confessional statement as well as some criminal antecedent, there
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30724 of 2016 (2) dt.08-08-2016 2/2 is nothing against the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IXth, Gaya in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No. 508 of 2015.
