Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, two persons including the petitioner were apprehended with stolen Hero Super Splender motorcycle. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is person of clean antecedents and he is in custody since 13.02.2022.

Considering the clean antecedents and the period of

No.20816 of 2022(2) dt.01-06-2022 2/2 custody of the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released on bail only after verifying his criminal antecedents on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case no. 128 of 2022.

The invitation card annexed with bail petition shows that marriage of the brother of the petitioner has fixed for 08.06.2022 as such criminal antecedents of the petitioner shall be verified within 15 days. If it is found that the petitioner is accused in any other case except the present one, his bail bond will be liable to be cancelled. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
