2. The grievance of the petitioners is with regard to the selection on the post of Constable pursuant to an advertisement bearing no. 1 of 1996.
3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the entire selection process has already come to an end way back in the year 2007 itself.

4. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present writ application with liberty to file a representation before the concerned authority.
5. It is needless to say that if such a representation would be filed before the concerned respondent authority, the same would be considered and necessary order would be passed expeditiously in accordance with law.
