Criminal Miscellaneous No.46550 of 2012 ====================================================== Satrughan Mahton .... .... Petitioner/s

Versus

The State of Bihar .... .... Opposite Party/s ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s : None For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Madhuranand Jha(App) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 16-04-2015 The present application has been filed for quashing the order dated 31.07.2012 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge I-cum-Special Judge, Begusarai in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 113 of 2010 for the offence alleged under Sections 8(c), 20 (b) of the N.D.P.S.Act.

2. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.

3. A perusal of the impugned order dated 31.07.2012 discloses that the learned Court has taken due consideration of the materials on record including the case diary and the statements of the parties before rejecting the petition for discharge.

4. It is well settled that at the stage of discharge the Court is not required to carry out a mini-trial, rather even strong suspicion against the petitioner is sufficient.

5. In this view of the matter, this Court finds no

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46550 of 2012 (2) dt.16-04-2015 infirmity in the impugned order.

6. The petition stands dismissed.
