JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-08-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction commanding the respondents to increase the number of fair price shop in the limit (quota) of SC and ST proportionate to the population of SC and ST in the District of Kaimur.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that higher number of PDS shop is required in the SC/ST quota having regard to the population of SC/ST in the District of Kaimur. The representation for the purpose has been filed before the District Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabhua on 23.07.2015 but the same remains pending.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears.
4. Having regard to the nature of the prayer of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice will be met if the District Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua (respondent no. 3) is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation said to have been filed on 23.07.2015 (Annexure-2), if not already disposed of, in accordance with law, expeditiously and in any event preferably within the period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
