JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 163 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 385, 387 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that he has demanded ransom from the informant on mobile phone. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is not named in the FIR. His name surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Golu Kumar @ Bapjee. The petitioner is in custody since 21.08.2019. Considering the fact that the petitioner was not named in the FIR and there is no material that any ransom was

Case No. 163 of 2019, subject to the condition that on release the petitioner shall render his services as volunteer to combat the pandemic of Covid-19 for a period of two months.
