The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner claiming following reliefs :- "(i) For commanding the respondent Principal Secretary, Urban Development, Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna to declare Nagarnausa Gram Panchayat into Nagarnausa Nagar Panchayat in village Nagarnausa, Block-Hilsa, Distt. Nalanda as per section 6 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007.
(ii) Also for commanding Principal Secretary, Urban Development, Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna to take a final decision on representation made by
Patna High Court CWJC No.6573 of 2025(2) dt.23-04-2025 2/3 the petitioner dated 20.10.2022 as contained AnnexureP/6 for declaring Nagarnausa ram Panchayat into Nagarnausa Nagar Panchayat in the manner in which other Gram Panchayat has been declared as Nagaar Panchayat on the basis population as per census 2011 considering Nagarnausa Gram Panchayat fulfills all he criteria for declaration as Nagar Panchayat as per Bihar Municipal Act, 2007.
(iii) Also for necessary relief/reliefs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the petitioners are entitled in the eye of law."

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the reliefs as prayed in the present writ application, the petitioner has already filed representation before the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna which is at Annexure P/6 and is dated 20.10.2022. He submits that he would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued by this Court for disposing of the representation within a fixed time.

It is surprising that a representation which was filed as far back as on 28.10.2022 has not yet been disposed of by the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna thereby compelling the petitioner to approach this Hon'ble Court. This Court, therefore, directs the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna to dispose of the representation dated 20.11.2022 (Annexure-P/6) within two months from the date of
Patna High Court CWJC No.6573 of 2025(2) dt.23-04-2025 3/3 production of a copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The final order disposing of the representation shall be speaking and reasoned order.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application shall stands disposed of. (Alok Kumar Sinha, J) sanjeev/- U
