2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nadi P.S. Case No. 77/2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/323/ 387/ 504/ 364/ 34 of Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, some named and unnamed persons went and demanded extortion from the deceased and on his refusal, they killed him and thereafter, the dead body was disposed of in the river Ganges.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.12.2025. The petitioner undertakes to

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that the name of the petitioner has come during investigation.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
