Petitioner is an accused in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 222 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 363 and 364 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that name of the petitioner has surfaced on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by co-accussed, namely, Praduman Mumar @ Satyam Kumar, which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that similarly situated accused person has been granted bail by this court vide order dated 27.08.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42433 of 2019 as contained in Annexure- 2. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17460 of 2020(2) dt.10-06-2020 2/2 further submitted that the petitioner has not been placed on T.I. Parade and he is in custody since 17.05.2019. Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamui in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 222 of 2018.
