Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner by way of the instant writ application is assailing the selection of private Respondent No.6 as Aanganwadi Sevika for Centre No. 162, Village- Pirauliya, P.O.- Malahipatti, Bahadurpur Panchayat Chandanpatti, P.S.- Ashok Paper Mill, District- Darbhanga.

By way of interim measure, the private Respondent No. 6 was directed to be given a selection letter for working as
Patna High Court CWJC No.4675 of 2023(2) dt.22-09-2023 2/2 Aanganwadi Sevika of the centre in question. The said order, which is interim in nature, was the original subject of the writ application. During pendency, the District Programme Officer, Darbhanga, on 03.04.2023 has cancelled the selection of the petitioner and directed that the private Respondent No.6 should assume the charge of Sevika for Centre No. 162, in question. 4.
The court would observe that order of the District Programme Officer is subject to appeal before the Divisional Commissioner under Clause-12 of the Guidelines for Selection of Aanganwadi Sevika/Sahayika, 2019 (hereinafter referred as "2019 Guidelines") issued by the ICDS Directorate. 5.
With liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy under the 2019 Guidelines, writ application is dismissed. (Madhuresh Prasad, J) shashank/- U
