JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-10-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was dismissed vide order dated 16.10.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42727 of 2017 and the allegation against the petitioner is that he kidnapped the daughter of the informant and handed her over to other accused persons, who committed rape on her and confined her in Jalandhar for two months.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been in languishing in judicial custody since 13.05.2017 and uptil now the trial has not commenced Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
