This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Nawada Town Police Station Case No. 861 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. It is alleged that 256 litres of country-made liquor and 15.375 litre of foreign liquor has been recovered from the Maruti Alto Car bearing Registration No. BR-21G-8902 of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 20.02.2023 and he has one criminal antecedent in which he is on bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case.

Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, let

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20733 of 2023(2) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge-Ist, Nawada, in connection with Nawada Town Police Station Case No. 861 of 2018.
