The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Liquor was recovered from a tractor lying by the side of the road. During investigation it revealed that the petitioner was driver of the tractor. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 01.02.2019. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18573 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No.61 of 2019, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
