The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 498A/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. This is a case under Section 498A of the IPC. The petitioner is husband of Opposite Party No.2. Submission is that petitioner is in custody since 06.04.2018.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 21634 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.7 of 2017, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
