The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 144 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that he has given forged check slip to be handed over to the informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that as a matter of fact forge slip was handed over by one Bibi Rashida, alleging that the same was handed over by the petitioner. The petitioner never handed over the cheque slip either to Bibi Rashida or any person amounting to Rs. 2500/- as pension approval letter.

No.53878 of 2016 (2) dt.15-12-2016 2/2 It has further been submitted that from F.I.R., itself appears that forge slip has not been produced by the petitioner rather produced by one Biwi Rasida. The petitioner is incarcerating in jail custody since 08.09.2016. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Araria, in Sikty P.S. Case No. 144 of 2016.
