Putting an allegation against the petitioner and others to have kidnapped Gita Devi, a major married lady on 27.06.2016 while she was in a way to her Sasural, informant her mother had filed complaint case no.656/2016 and in the aforesaid background it has been alleged that the accused persons so named therein including the petitioner armed variously raided her house and further coerced her to withdraw the case. Furthermore, Umesh Manjhi disclosed that he got Gita married with his son. During course thereof, it has also been alleged that Umesh Manjhi pointed pistol towards her, petitioner Dewal Manjhi caught hold her and pulled over ground while Daymanti Devi and Urmila Devi assaulted her with fist and slap. Manoj Manjhi snatched away bangle (silver).
From perusal of the case diary, it is apparent that nothing more has been alleged against the petitioner for that petitioner happens to be under custody since 08.09.2016 having clean antecedent.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52091 of 2016 (3) dt.16-02-2017 Accordingly, petitioner Sunny Dewal Manjhi @ Naresh Manjhi is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., VIth, Nawada in connection with Nardiganj P.S. Case No.127/2016.
