The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 366A and 363 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the 15 year old daughter of the informant disappeared and subsequently it transpired that the petitioner was also not to be found.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. Both the petitioner as also the daughter of the informant are major and married out of their own free will. The allegations as levelled in the F.I.R. are false and concocted. The petitioner is in custody since 17.9.2021 and has no criminal antecedent.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner, the age of the daughter of the informant together with the contents of her statement under section 161 Cr.P.C., the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
