JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 24-11-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The present case was lodged against the co-accused Santosh Kumar Singh, allegedly, for kidnapping the informant's minor daughter. However, in course of investigation, the petitioner was arrested and confessed his guilt that the victim was in love with him and she had solemnized her marriage with the petitioner. Petitioner also confessed that he had given a call of ransom to the informant but he stated that, subsequently, the victim left his home and went to the house of her father from where she was found missing.

It would appear from perusal of Annexure-'2' to the petition that the police after due investigation came to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42086 of 2016 (3) dt.24-11-2016 2/2 conclusion that the victim was killed by her family members and for that, the police lodged Sheohar P.S. Case No.113 of 2016 against the informant of the present as well as some other accused. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar, in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No.73 of 2016.
