This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.16 of 2023 registered for the offence under sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail has been rejected vide orders dated 23.05.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.27054 of 2023.

In the counter affidavit filed by the State, it has been stated that in the trial out of six witnesses, three witnesses have already been examined.

Considering the gravity of the offence and also the fact that the trial is proceeding, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21830 of 2025(5) dt.07-11-2025 2/2 grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
