In this case, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 9.07.2014, whereby and whereunder, the appeal filed by the petitioner has been returned on two counts, firstly that he should have filed the appeal before the appropriate authority and, secondly, the appeal has been filed after 16 years from the date of dismissal from service stating that the appeal will lie before the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Darbhanga. In view of the above, either the petitioner should file an appeal before the appropriate Deputy Inspector General of Police, Darbhanga who will decide the same in accordance with law.
