Petitioner is accused in connection with Spl. Case No. 18 of 2018 arising out of Jogbani P.S. Case No. 221 of 2018 registered under Sections 21/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act and 27(b)/28 read with section 36 of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is quite innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner has no concerned with the seized cough syrup and the seized vehicle in question also does not belong to this petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2018.
