Petitioner is husband of Opposite Party No.2 apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.177 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The matter was referred in Mediation and the report of learned Mediator dated 17.05.2019 is on record. From perusal of the Mediation report, it appears that both the petitioner and Opposite party No.2 have entered into compromise and a sum of Rs. 10 lakh was to be paid by the petitioner to the informant, Juhi Kumari. It further appears that all entire amount of Rs. 10 lakh has been paid by the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19821 of 2019(3) dt.25-07-2019 2/2 to the informant by way of bank draft.

After having heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State and taking into consideration the fact that parties have compromised their dispute as is evident from the Mediation report dated 17.05.2019, let the provisional bail, granted to the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 04.04.2019, is hereby confirmed with terms and conditions as mentioned in the aforesaid order dated 04.04.2019.
