Petitioner is an accused in connection with Sessions Trial No. 505 of 2019 arising out of Baikunthpur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2005 corresponding to G.R. No. 445 of 2005 for the offence registered under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named in the first information report and he has no criminal antecedent. It is further submitted that the petitioner is aged about 70 years and he is in custody since 18.04.2019.
