The Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with NCB Crime No. 01 of 2018, registered for offences punishable under Sections 8, 20, 25, 27A and 29 of the NDPS Act. Allegation against the petitioners as per F.I.R. is of recovery of 155 Kg of Ganja from the Scorpio vehicle and the petitioners were apprehended from the vehicle. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that nothing has been recovered from the possession
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63907 of 2018 (2) dt.25-10-2018 2/2 of the petitioners and they are in custody since 06.01.2018. Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of N.C.B., Patna opposes the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances that huge quantity of Ganja has been recovered from possession of the petitioners and they have fully aware, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. However, as the petitioners are in custody since 06.01.2018 and the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
