The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for restoration of Cr. Rev. No. 788 of 2016, which was dismissed for want of prosecution, vide order dated 24.10.2016.

It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that due to unavoidable and compelling reasons, counsel for the petitioner could not appear before this Court when the matter was called out.

On the facts and in the circumstances, the prayer is allowed.

Let Cr. Rev. No. 788 of 2016 be restored to its original file.
