2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 55 of 2026 arising out of Barhara P.S. Case No. 633 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 120(B), 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased was called and killed by the accused persons including the petitioner.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 3.11.2025.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that there is no material against the petitioner to connect him with the crime.

6. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the application of the petitioner and has submitted that during

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20509 of 2026(4) dt.20-07-2026 2/2 investigation, materials have come against the petitioner with regard to the fact that he has participated in the conspiracy of killing the deceased.

7. I have heard and considered the submission of the parties.

8. During investigation, it has come in the selfinculpatory statement of the co-accused that they had conspired to kill the deceased and called him for the said purpose. Thereafter, they called him for taking liquor and have brutally killed the deceased by cutting his neck.

9. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

10. Accordingly, this application is dismissed. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U
