JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, direction or directions to respondents for quashing the order dated 21/09/2013 (contained in Annexure-7) issued under the signature of District Samadesta Bihar Home Guard, Munger in letter No. 893, whereby and whereunder the date of birth of the petitioner has been changed as 15/10/1955
Patna High Court CWJC No.23174 of 2013(2) dt.05-07-2023 2/2 whereas actual date of birth of the petitioner is 15/10/1956 on that basis petitioner will be completed 58 years as retirement age on 15/10/2014 and for direction to the respondents authority to any other reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."
Considering the stand taken by the respondent-State to the effect that the date of birth recorded at the time of entry of the petitioner in the services of the respondents, upon declaration having been made by the petitioner, is 10.10.1955, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
