Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 6 of 2017 registered under Sections 30A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that five bottles liquor containing 375 m.l each have been recovered from the shop of Jawahir Ram. The police arrested him and he disclosed the name of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is omnibus and general as nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he has clean antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer of anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed. The

No.7057 of 2017 (2) dt.21-02-2017 2/2 petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within period of six weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 14th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 6 of 2017 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
