2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No.684 of 2023 under Sections 366 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against four named accused persons including the petitioner with allegation that the petitioner has abused and threatened the informant when he went to his house for search of his daughterin-law when she was missing from informant's house.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21234 of 2025(2) dt.23-04-2025 2/2 case. The petitioner is a truck driver and general lives in Gujarat to run his livelihood. He further submits that the victim girl has been recovered, but the allegation has been supported under section 164 of the Cr.P.C. of the victim.
5. Learned Counsel also submits that antecedent of the petitioner is clean. He further submits that other co-accused persons have been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.09.2024 passed in Cr. Misc.No.47512 of 2024.
6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner's name has been disclosed by the victim in her statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C.
7. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, therefore the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Prakashmani/- U T
