Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 47A and 53B of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

36 bottles Indian made foreign liquor containing 180 ml each were recovered beneath the seat of the petitioner while he was travelling in a bus.

The submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the petitioner does not have any concern with the seized bottles and, as a matter of fact, he was arrested on mere suspicion. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties and also taking note of this fact that the petitioner is in jail custody since 21.4.2016, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Md. Firoz
