This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 06.08.2018 passed in CWJC No. 14285 of 2018, whereby, this Court had disposed of the writ petition with an expectation that the Licensing Authority - Respondent No. 2, District Magistrate, Saharsa shall take a final decision in the matter of cancellation of suspension of the petitioner's gun licence.

3. Though, there is no direction given in the writ petition for compliance by any of the respondents, yet learned

Patna High Court MJC No.1093 of 2019(4) dt.02-05-2025 2/2 counsel for the District Magistrate, Saharsa by referring to the show cause filed has submitted that an order dated 27.05.2019 vide Memo No. 691 has been passed, whereby, the gun license of the petitioner has been cancelled.

4. In view of the above, since, there was no direction in the writ petition for compliance by any of the respondents, no case for contempt has been made out, accordingly, the contempt application stands dismissed.
