The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution story, in brief, is that on the date of occurrence, the petitioner along with other accused persons set fire on the body of the daughter of the informant after sprinkling kerosene oil on her body due to non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2016. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is motherin-law of the deceased. She is separate in mess and property from
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50367 of 2016 (2) dt.22-11-2016 2/2 the husband of the deceased.
On behalf of the state, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Sitamarhi in connection with Majorganj P.S.
