2. This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No.08 of 2022, registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 379, 365, 498A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of D.P. Act.
3. Initially the F.I.R. was registered under Section 498A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code but subsequently during investigation it has come that the petitioner took his wife on motorcycle and since then, she is traceless. The F.I.R. is of the year 2022 but there is nothing on record to show what steps the petitioner took once his wife went missing.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised. He also submits that the deceased has not died.
5. The petitioner is in custody since 17.11.2024 and he claims clean antecedent.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of regular bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this application stands rejected.
8. HPetitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail if the deceased is recovered alive.
