1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 155 of 2022, dated 12.04.2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 413 and 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that the instant matter relates to the recovery of a Maruti Suzuki Car and 2 currency notes of hundred rupees with white papers of same size in between both the notes and as per allegation the seized car has its chassis and engine number being rubbed and accordingly, this petitioner and other co-accused persons were suspected to have indulged in the alleged offences of the FIR but in actual the alleged vehicle belongs to co-

No.21021 of 2023(2) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 accused Niraj Kumar who claimed to have purchased the said vehicle and the petitioner was not arrested at the spot and he later on surrendered. Further submissions are that the petitioner is a young person and he has fair and clean antecedent and one similarly situated co-accused person namely, Shalu Kumar has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35573 of 2022 and the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 11.12.2022 and against him the investigation has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the above submissions and mainly petitioner's young age and his fair and clean antecedent and the completion of investigation against him, in my opinion it is a fit case for bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No. 155 of 2022.
