This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Khirhar P.S. Case No.139 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 137(2), 96 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner is accused of kidnapping the daughter of the informant.

The petitioner is in custody since 13.12.2025.

A copy of the statement of the victim girl record under section 180 of the BNSS has been produced by the learned counsel for the petitioner. From perusal of the statement of the victim girl, it appears that she had eloped with the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20897 of 2026(3) dt.14-05-2026 2/2 petitioner.

Considering the statement of the victim girl recorded under section 180 of the B.N.S.S, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court below, in connection with Khirhar P.S. Case No.139 of 2025.

It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. 9.
