The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 8, 20(b) (ii) (c), 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

As per the prosecution case, 57.5 kgs of ganja was recovered concealed in a specially made chamber inside the vehicle of which the petitioner was the driver. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 8.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 75105 of 2019. The petitioner is in custody since 9.1.2019 and there is no chance of the trial concluding in the near future.

Heard learned APP for the State.
