2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 49 of 2012 registered for the offence under Sections 493 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have committed rape upon the victim.

4. From the FIR, it appears that the victim and the petitioner were in a relationship and the informant, on her own, had eloped with him and travelled to Gujarat.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2025.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Gopalganj/concerned Court below in connection with Gopalpur P.S.
