Petitioner seeks bail in Mahishi P.S. Case No.204 of 2017, registered under Sections 341, 323, 379, 494 and 498(A)/504 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The gist of the allegation is that the petitioner being the husband of the informant subjected her to all sorts of torture and drove her out from the house after snatching her all belongings. The informant further alleged that the petitioner has already solemnized second marriage with one Puja Kumari. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not solemnized the second marriage and he is still ready to keep his wife.
Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61538 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner being the husband of the informant has already remained in jail for about three months, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Saharsa in connection with Mahishi P.S.
