The petitioner is languishing in custody since 12.02.2019 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. It is alleged that on a secret information that the petitioner has stored foreign liquor, raid was laid in the house of the petitioner and 7.5 litres of illicit foreign liquor was recovered.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the recovery has been made from the joint family house of the petitioner and he is named in the FIR.

Learned APP submits that the recovery has been

Considering the quantity of recovery and period under custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (Excise), Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Excise Case No. 1055 of 2018, arising out of Bhabua P.S. Case No. 844 of 2018.
