Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 18 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Sections under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act.

Since the petitioner has criminal antecedents of similar nature, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail application is dismissed.

However, if the petitioner surrenders in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and prays for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20922 of 2022(2) dt.29-04-2022 2/2 regular bail, the Court below shall consider and decide the same without being influenced by the present order. While deciding the bail application, the Court below shall also consider the small quantity of liquor recovered from the house of the petitioner.
