The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 13 of 2023 arising out of Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 494 of 2022 dated 07.10.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution, the allegation against the petitioner is that he assaulted the informant with knife. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner and informant are gotiyas and injury on the person of the informant is simple in nature.

Charge sheet has already been submitted and there is no chance of absconding or tampering with the evidence. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-1st, Barh, Patna in connection with Sessions Trial No. 13 of 2023 arising out of Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 494 of 2022.
